Iridium, Push-To-Talk call group rates, per month

* Activation of X-Large & Jumbo Call Groups requires special approval by Iridium and is approved on case-by-case basis.

1. Tariffs are in EUR. Iridium reserves the right to change or adjust rates. All rates listed are effective January 1, 2020.
2. A subscriber organization must have a minimum of five (5) active PTT handsets or receive separate approval from Iridium to qualify for one (1) free small call group. Subscriber organizations that do not meet the minimum requirement of 5 handsets and have not received approval from Iridium will be charged the applicable "Monthly Call Group Fee." Additional free small call groups require approval from Iridium.
3. A subscriber organization must have a minimum of five (5) active PTT handsets and have received prior approval from Iridium to be eligible for one (1) free medium call group.
4. A subscriber organization must maintain an average ratio of 5 billable PTT handsets per each free call group received. Deviations from the minimum requirement of 5 PTT handsets for the free call group may be made at the sole discretion of Iridium.
5. DeSchotelShop and Iridium reserve the right to limit the number of small and medium unlimited call groups to €0.00 per month.
6. Although some reduced-cost small and medium call groups are free of charge, subscribers are expected to use them responsibly. Iridium reserves the right to change this policy in the future if, for any reason, Iridium's network or service to their subscribers for PTT or any other service deteriorates due to the use of this policy. Such changes may include, but are not limited to, limiting the number of PTT devices in a call group, limiting the number of call groups or changing prices based on proper notice.




7. All free small call groups with less than five PTT handsets and all free medium call groups require prior approval.
8. Reduced-cost call groups are available for worldwide use beginning in 2017, with the exception of certain location areas in the Middle East ("Middle East Region") in conjunction with the 2017 PTT handset plans. Call groups requiring access in the Middle East region are required to use Middle East Talkgroup and handset subscriptions and are not eligible for free reception.
9. Call group rates are based entirely on coverage area (measured in square miles) and unlimited use of the call group. Each activated call group is charged a monthly fee.
10. Addition of a member to a call group does not incur any additional call group fees. A call group can contain an unlimited number of handsets.
11. The unlimited "included call group usage" includes only the use of the PTT call group service. Normal Iridium Voice services are not included and are billed based on the selected standard Iridium Voice package.
12. The coverage area of the call group is determined with the PTT Command Center by placing circles, squares and rectangles on a map or by using specific latitude/longitude coordinates in a list view.
13. Call group size limits are related to the total area covered by the call group. The coverage area of the call group may add up to, but not exceed, the applicable limit for the agreed call group size.
14. The coverage of each call group may be split into up to 10 different coverage regions. For the smallest call group, due to the minimum "region sizes" in the PTT command center, the coverage area may only be split into up to 5 different coverage regions. No terrestrial coverage area restrictions apply.
15. If the initial agreed call group size does not meet customer needs, upgrades and downgrades to the desired call group size are available. More than two call group size changes per year may incur additional administrative costs.
16. In order to participate in a call group session, a handset must be within the coverage area of the call group, be registered as a member of the call group through the PTT command center, be up to date with applicable call group guidelines, and have active service (not suspended or disabled).
17. A handset's access to call groups can be disabled through the PTT Command Center. This will only disable access to call groups. The handset's standard monthly rate will continue to be charged.
18. In order to (continue to) provide subscribers with a high quality connection, Iridium will control the allocation of call groups to prevent customers from unnecessarily overloading the network. It is Iridium's intention to allocate these gspeech groups on a fair-use and reasonable basis per PTT and subscriber.

Iridium, Push-To-Talk Handset rates, rate per month

1. Fares are in EUR. Iridium reserves the right to change or adjust rates.
2. The 2017 PTT Handset Plans are available for use worldwide with the exception of certain location areas within the Middle East ("Middle East Region"). No terminals may be activated on the 2017 PTT Handset Device Plans if at least one Talkgroup on the terminal falls in whole or in part within the defined Middle East Region.
3. Iridium reserves the right, effective immediately and without notice, to deactivate terminals that are determined to have at least one Talkgroup in whole or in part within the Middle East Region that is not activated on a Middle East PTT Device Plan. Iridium reserves the right, effective immediately and without notice, to deactivate any Talkgroup determined to be wholly or partially within the Middle East region and not activated on a Middle East PTT Talkgroup Plan.
4. A single monthly fee is charged for each Push-To-Talk Handset. Adding a call group to a Handset will not incur any additional Handset charges. Up to 15 call groups can be assigned to each Handset.
5. Activating a Handset for Push-to-Talk service gives the user access to the Push-To-Talk service. It does not give the user access to normal Iridium Voice or Data services. Access to the normal Iridium Voice or Data services are available through a separate normal Iridium Postpaid / Prepaid SIM card activation and additional charges will apply. To clarify, activation of a Handset for Push-To-Talk services will only give the terminal access to the Talkgroups assigned to the Handset. It will not enable normal Iridium Voice to Fixed / Cellular services.
6. If the PTT device service is terminated or deactivated before the end of the applicable Term Commitment, the full Early Termination Fee (ETF) will apply. For the avoidance of doubt, the ETF is not pro-rated.
7. All changes to a PTT Device Plan will be charged the applicable Early Termination Fee if processed while the commitment is still in effect. For clarity, if you switch from the 2017 PTT Device 3-month Plan A to the 2017 PTT Device 12-month Plan B or to the PTT Device Middle East Plan while you still have a commitment, you will be charged the full Early Termination Fee.
