Intelligent POTS Interface

With the intelligent RJ11 / POTS interface, either wired, wireless or DECT handsets can be used or linked to a PBX system with standard call, busy and dial tones.
The Beam PotsDOCK 9555 has a built-in Bluetooth module for establishing a voice connection, along with an intelligent tracking and alert reporting function. The alert and tracking module can be configured to support periodic polling or for creating emergency signal reports.

PotsDOCK 9555 Features

The PotsDOCK 9555's built-in GPS enables global tracking; tracking and alert messages can be sent via SMS or Short Burst Data (if set on the Iridium 9555 handset).

Via the Bluetooth connection, it is possible to make hands-free calls, for example while driving or sailing. In doing so, it is possible to move freely up to a distance of +/- 10m around the Bluetooth device.

Any standard analogue POTS phone (Plain Old Telephone Service) can be connected to the PotsDOCK 9555; it then supplies power to the connected analogue phone and controls the ringing, dialing and busy tones.
