This Intellian® i5 satellite system (2018) is owned by a private person. The antenna is suitable for NL TV reception via the Astra 23,5 satellite (= Canal Digitaal / TV Vlaanderen) and German channels via the Astra 19,2 satellite. Antenna system has been tested by us and provided with the latest updates. The antenna is in fine condition.

Long distance sailing

The i5 from Intellian® is available in 2 variants: the "regular" i5 or the i5P with Auto Skew function.

For example, the i5P model is ideal for ships sailing between different locations within a global region, where the polarization angle of the satellite signal is subject to change. For example: Europe, South America, Asia-Pacific.

All Intellian "P" models are equipped with an integrated Auto Skew angle adjustment, eliminating the need to adjust -manually- the skew angle of the LNB.

Automatic satellite switching

DISH Network (U.S.) and Bell TV (Canada) users will benefit from using the Intellian MIM (Multi-Satellite Interface Module). The Intellian MIM is needed to enable automatic switching between satellites, which also allows water sports users who want to switch channels to automatically switch to the correct satellite, just like satellite TV at home.

Multiple connections possible

Multiple satellite receivers and/or televisions can be connected to the Intellian i5 using a multi-switch or the Intellian MIM system (Multi-Satellite Interface Module). Through the MIM, a master receiver can be selected to receive the desired satellite.

In North America, when using Dish Network or Bell TV, an MIM is required; this allows automatic satellite switching through your remote control, just like in your home.

Built-in GPS and NMEA 0183 Interface

• The Intellian® i4 features a built-in GPS antenna for quick alignment to the correct satellite / best signal strength.
• The vessel's GPS system can also be connected via the NMEA 0183 port on the ACU's rear panel.

Compact size
