The exact percentage depends on a number of factors, such as the number of cells on a solar panel, the amount of sunlight, and the location of your vacation. Although an MPPT controller is always more interesting than a regular controller, partly due to the small price difference, an MPPT controller has the most additional effect in colder weather conditions. In Spain, therefore, you will experience less efficiency advantage than, for example, in the Netherlands or Scandinavia.

By means of so-called jumpers in the charge controller, you can choose a battery type. In this way, the charge controller also makes you suitable for LiFePO4; for lithium batteries, it is necessary for flawless operation to connect these in combination with an NDS 3Link. Directly connecting a lithium battery is not wise and is also not supported by NDS!
