The Global Invacom GTU MKIII Quad converts the fiber optic signal into a coaxial signal; this GTU is intended to connect directly to the satellite receiver (or TV with built-in DVB-S2 satellite tuner) without the intervention of a multiswitch.

The Global Invacom GTU can be powered via the connected satellite receivers or via a 12V power supply (not standard included).
